EUSFLAT Student Grants

The EUSFLAT Society awards 2 Student Grants finalised at partially covering expenses for taking part to the FUZZIEEE2025 conference. A Student Grant holder will be refund of the EUSFLAT Student Early Registration Fees after her/his participation to the conference (on site).

Application procedure:

The applicant must provide the following information:

  • Name, Forename, email
  • Current position and University
  • Proof of of studentship (ie. copy of the Student card)
  • Name(s) of the supervisor(s) (with their EUSFLAT membership if any).
    A support letter stating that the applicant’s supervisor supports the application will be appreciate.
  • EUSFLAT ID : the candidate must be a EUSFLAT student member at the time of application
  • Information about previously received EUSFLAT grant if any
  • the ID, title, and list of authors submitted to FUZZIEEE 2025
  • the acceptance notification and the reviews on their paper (comments and notes).

The application must be sent by email to grants@eusflat.org
The subject of the email must content “[FUZZIEEE – grants] application of Name-of-the-applicant“.

Deadlines

Application should be sent no later than Tuesday 29 April 2025 (AoE)

Note: the EUSFLAT grant is paid after the conference, considering that the grantee has presented on site her/his paper during the conference.

Remark: the EUSFLAT Student grant cannot be combined with an IEEE CIS Travel grant for the FUZZIEEE 2025 conference.

Eligibility criteria

  • The candidate must be author (or co-author) and presenter of an accepted paper. In case of multiple students who are co-authors of the same paper, only one student can apply for a grant.
  • The candidate must be an EUSFLAT student member at the time of application.
  • Candidates who have never received an EUSFLAT student grant will be given priority.
  • Student Grants holders must attend the conference and present their papers.
  • The EUSFLAT board will undertake the selection process among the eligible students. Such a process will be based on the following main criteria: referee reports on the paper, time since the previous grant (if any), fair distribution among institutes and countries, EUSFLAT membership of supervisor(s). No communication on this matter is possible.

The EUSFLAT web page keep a record of past grant holders in order to guarantee transparency (see: https://www.eusflat.org/members-grants-program.html) and provide all the information to become an EUSFLAT member.
