Reaching Reims from the Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport
The simpliest way to reach Reims when you land at the Paris – Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport is to take a train inside the airport from the Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport to Reims: click here to see the Airport information.

There are 2 stations in Reims:
- the Reims Station in the center
- the Reims Champagne Ardennes station: this station is outside the city (10kms) and you have 2 possibilities to reach the Reims centre:
- the simpliest and cheapest way is to take a train shuttle (Train TER) to reach the Reims Station: the trip last around 10 minutes. Usually, it is included with your train ticket if you have bought it at the airport that takes this change into account. There is no difficulty for the change in the station: usually, all you have to do is change platforms.
- you can take a taxi (it is a more expensive solution) from Reims Champagne Ardennes to the centre of Reims
If you have to travel to Paris before going to Reims, from the Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport we can recommend you to take the RER Line B to Paris: see the Airport website.
It is easy to go inside Paris with the RER Line B. For instance, “Gare du Nord” station can be reached in around 35-40 minutes. All RER trains leaving the airport stop at Gare du Nord, which is the first accessible station inside Paris.
The “Gare du Nord” station is inside Paris and very close to the “Gare de l’Est” station where you can have trains to reach Reims. To reach the “Gare de l’Est” station from the “Gare du Nord” station: take the Metro Line 5 (in direction of “Place d’Italie”) and go out at the station “Gare du Nord” (only 1mn to go).
Reaching Reims from the Orly Airport
From the Orly Airport (which is in the South of Paris), you have to go inside Paris to the “Gare de l’Est” train station, then you can take a train to reach Reims (see above).
From the Orly Airport to the “Gare de l’Est” train station: the simpliest way is to take the Metro Line 14 (see here for more information):
- the Line 14 takes you inside Paris (there is a unique direction to take: “Saint Denis – Pleyel”), you have to change at the Châtelet station
- from the Châtelet Station, you take the Line 4, in the direction of “Porte de Clignancourt”, and you go out at the “Gare de l’Est” station.
This journey from the Orly Airport to the Gare de l’Est station takes around 45 minutes (there’s a metro every 5-10 minutes) and the ticket costs 13€.
From the Gare de l’Est station (also known as “Paris Est” station), you can take a train to reach Reims (see below).
Reaching Reims from Paris
If you are inside Paris, you have to go to the Gare de l’Est (also known as “Paris Est” train station) to take a train to reach Reims.
